We worked with NBTC to develop a focused campaign for the Belgian market. The goal is to move beyond the familiar Dutch cities and introduce Belgian travellers to the nature and quiet of the northern Dutch regions.
We positioned provinces such as Drenthe, Friesland, and Groningen as destinations defined by space, landscape, and slower pace. The emphasis was not on urban experiences, but on nature, wellness, and quality of environment. We delivered an integrated approach combining PR, content, and online campaigns, tailored to the Belgian traveller seeking calm and meaningful travel close to home. Within the Slow Lands campaign, the focus was on outdoor experiences, mental recovery, and wellness. This strategy supported a broader distribution of visitors and strengthened the perception of the Netherlands as more than a city destination. It established the northern regions as a credible alternative, rooted in nature, space, and wellbeing.
